Almost grazing
You are stubborn
And unyielding
And annoying! Might I add
At the tips
Of my very hand
And bland
Between my teeth
Concrete
Beneath my nails
Skin
Over skin
Over skin over bones
Yet you don’t seem
Like anything
At all
Like the skin on my face
